All services are tailor-made according to client requirements. Due to the customized nature of our work, refunds are handled under strict conditions.

2. Advance Payments

  • Most projects require an advance payment before work begins.
  • The advance amount confirms the project slot, planning, and resource allocation.
  • Once the advance is paid and work has started, it is considered non-refundable.

Advance payments cover:

  • Time spent on research and planning
  • Design concepts and technical setup
  • Reserved development resources

3. Refund Policy

🚫 No Refund After Work Begins

Once the project has started, no refunds will be issued, including but not limited to cases where:

  • The client changes their mind
  • The client no longer needs the service
  • The client fails to respond or provide required details
  • The project is delayed due to client-side reasons

✅ Refund Before Work Starts

A refund may be considered only if:

  • Payment was made
  • Work has not yet started
  • A cancellation request is sent within a reasonable time

In such cases:

  • Transaction or processing fees (if any) may be deducted
  • Refund approval is at the sole discretion of Shape My Site

❌ No Refund for Completed or Delivered Work

Once any of the following occur, no refund will be provided:

  • Design drafts are shared
  • Development work has started
  • Partial or full delivery is completed
  • Files, code, or assets are handed over

4. Milestone-Based Projects

For projects divided into milestones:

  • Payments made for a completed milestone are non-refundable
  • If a project is canceled mid-way, the client must pay for all completed milestones
  • Any remaining unpaid milestones will not be delivered

5. Revisions Policy (Instead of Refunds)

We believe in fixing issues, not refunding completed work.

  • Revisions are provided as per the agreed scope
  • Revision limits are discussed before the project starts
  • Requests beyond scope may require additional charges
  • Refunds will not be issued in place of revisions.

6. Project Cancellation by Client

If the client chooses to cancel the project:

  • All payments made up to that point remain non-refundable
  • Work completed until cancellation will be billed
  • No ownership of incomplete work is transferred

7. Project Cancellation by Shape My Site

We reserve the right to cancel or suspend a project if:

  • The client violates our Terms of Service
  • The client engages in abusive or unethical behavior
  • Required information or payments are repeatedly delayed
  • The project involves illegal, harmful, or unethical content

In such cases:

  • No refunds are guaranteed
  • Decisions are final and binding

8. Delays & Client Responsibilities

Refunds will not be provided for delays caused by:

  • Late responses from the client
  • Missing content or approvals
  • Scope changes during development
  • Third-party service issues (hosting, APIs, platforms)

9. Third-Party Costs

Payments made for third-party services such as:

  • Domain registration
  • Hosting
  • Paid plugins
  • APIs or licenses

are non-refundable, even if the project is canceled.

10. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

  • Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first is a violation of this policy
  • Any false disputes may result in service termination
  • Legal action may be taken if required

We encourage clients to contact us directly to resolve concerns.

11. Changes to This Policy

Shape My Site reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
